This past weekend I entered my first competition cake in the National Capital Area Cake Show. It was such a great event to be a part of  and it was nice to meet other great bakers and some very well known ones as well.

Here is my cake… it won 3rd place in the intermediate division! Made a very nice ending to my weekend.

Also entered some sugar cookies and they won 3rd place as well
